Using I Am Statements

If you have found your way to this site, you most likely have used & know the importance of Affirmations. But how often do you consciously affirm who and what you are? How well do you repair the damage society, friends and family serve to you daily?

Dr. Wayne Dyer said that we have been conditioned to think “I am NOT” and we can use “I AM” statements to change our reality. As children, we may have felt we were not smart enough if we or our parents were unhappy with a report card; or we were not attractive enough because we didn’t look like a movie star or other celebrity (or even a cheerleader or our best friend)!

And as adults, many of us are still finding fault with ourselves on a daily basis through the same channels we did as children. Joel Osteen, spiritual leader and author, reminds us in his book, The Power of I Am: Two Words That Will Change Your Life Today, to not let others determine how we feel or act, that the wrong “I Am” could be keeping us from reaching our full potential. But it also means not reaching our full happiness because as long as we listen to others’ negative/untrue statements or any thoughts or feelings that do not resonate with our own spirit (those that make us feel anything but happy), we are NOT allowing our greatest good and most fulfilling joy.

Dyer suggests a simple change in your thinking and self-talk processes. DROP THE NOT! He says overcoming this I Am Not mentality begins with trusting our inner world of spirit and affirming who we want to be or become.

I AM capable of…

I AM able to…

I AM worthy of…

I AM deserving of…

Dr. Capri Cruz writes that we are the only ones who has the power and authority to speak these words for our own conscious creation. She says the reason we have become who we are today is that we have accepted what the environment said we are and what is possible. We bought into the influence of our surroundings, the limitations of our experiences. We must learn how to self-proclaim using the powerful “I AM” statements.

“I AM” neutralizes fear and doubts, and moves us into position to claim our power & our dreams! Speaking these words can align you with Source. The Source that is in you. The Source that you live and breathe and have your being in!

Tell Yourself Who You Are Now! I AM…
