Nothing Makes Sense
This is a phrase we’ve probably all said at some time or another. It’s certainly a phrase we have heard before, but I saw a cartoon on Instagram a few days ago that has had me thinking about ‘nothing’ and how the phrase has two meanings.

I meditate at least once a day most days. It is my intent to use meditation in different ways and for various purposes, one of them being deeper spiritual work. This type of meditation requires more time, more quiet and more focus for me to feel like I have made a real spiritual connection to Source.
One way to meditate is to go into the ‘void’ - the ‘nothing’.
Once there, we are prompted to focus on the void, let go of all thought, become one with the nothingness. We all have unique experiences and encounters during our time spent in the void. I am interested in hearing about one of your own that has changed your way of thinking or has been a stepping stone in your journey.
For me, there is a calmness and lightness that envelopes me and I am pulled deeper down into a comforting feeling of oneness. I often drift off to sleep in this state but sometimes I have the clarity to ask a question; when this happens, I usually receive an immediate answer. It’s a feeling of attunement with the Universe and I get an understanding to fully accept the answer given to me.
So, when the monk in the cartoon agrees “it does”, I also believe it to be true, at least when I can actually find myself there in the midst of nothingness. How often are you able to make space for this deeper meditative practice?
